About us

A small, independent practice in Paddington. Two treatment rooms, one dentist and one oral health therapist, and appointments long enough to explain everything.

Dr Eleanor Marsh

General dentist and practice principal

Eleanor has practised general dentistry in Brisbane since 2011, first in community clinics and then in private practice. She opened Lindell Street in 2019 with a simple aim: appointments long enough to do the job properly, and to explain it clearly.

Her work centres on prevention and on conservative, tooth-coloured restorations. She sees many patients who have stayed away from the dentist for years, and she is happy to go slowly.

Most people don’t mind a longer appointment. What they mind is not knowing what’s happening. So I tell you what I see, show you on the screen, and we decide together.

Qualifications
Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours), The University of Queensland
Registration
General dentist, registered with the Dental Board of Australia through Ahpra
Memberships
Australian Dental Association
Areas of interest
Preventive care, anxious patients, tooth-coloured restorations, clear aligners

Eleanor works alongside Priya Nair, our oral health therapist, who looks after hygiene appointments and many of our children’s check-ups.

A small practice, run the way we’d want to be looked after ourselves.

Time to do it properly

Check-ups are booked for 45 minutes and new patient visits for an hour. Nothing is rushed, and there’s always time for questions.

Fees in writing, before treatment

Your treatment plan lists each item number and fee, so you can check your rebate with your health fund before deciding.

The least treatment that works

We’ll tell you when something can be watched rather than treated, and explain every option, including waiting, with its trade-offs.

Nervous patients welcome

Tell us what worries you. We’ll agree on a signal to stop, take breaks whenever you need them, and go at your pace.

Inside the practice

Two treatment rooms on the first floor of a quiet building off Given Terrace. We choose equipment for what it does for you: less discomfort, lower radiation, and clearer explanations.

Digital X-rays
A lower radiation dose than film, and the images appear on screen straight away so we can go through them together.
Intraoral scanner
A 3D scan replaces impression putty for crowns, aligners, mouthguards and splints.
Intraoral camera
Close-up photos of your teeth, so you can see exactly what we see.
Sterilisation room
Instruments are cleaned, sterilised and tracked in a dedicated room, following the Dental Board of Australia’s infection control guidelines.
Comfort and access
Lift and step-free access, an accessible bathroom, and headphones and blankets on request.
The waiting area, with a row of chairs, a plant and soft light.
A treatment room with a dental chair beside a window.
